A how-to guide to online book marketing. It teaches authors how to promote their book using effective, inexpensive tools such as blogs, MySpace, and other Web 2.0 sites.

Here's what two experts say about the book:

"A wealth of ideas for making your book stand out, including many techniques for Internet buzz you won't find elsewhere."

Note: This book can be purchased if interested at amazon.com or other subsidiaries of their site.

I thought I would check in here to see if anyone is coming here and you are talking at all. I don't see that happening.

Wayne Sharrocks - Interview/Review in EGL Magazine

Blog post by Wayne Sharrocks Jun 14, 2010

Welcome to Midnight Magica's Forum

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Welcome all new members to our new website for those who are either in the Guild or friends, interested, or writers or people who just want to talk about books and writing and all things associated. Our numbers are small right now and I hope they will grow as invitations are sent out. It will take time but over time we should have a lot of fun I am hoping. All new projects take time and dedication.  You are free to put whatever you like on your own profile page including links to your own projects whether they fit into the topic of the forum here.  Your profile is your own, but please no adult themes that are overt, in other words no graphics with nudity and no use of profanity here.  Other than that display your writings, personal groups and projects or interests that you wish on your own pages.

If you have friends who might be interested in talking on these topics or write in the areas also of Paganism, the occult, metaphysics, or are occultish artisans or dark artists and would like to show their works in Midnight Magica or just come in and talk about it by all means invite them. No one here is being brought in to find writers for the ezine.  It is merely to discuss those things the ezine is based upon and writing and anything else associated. If you want to talk about your favorite new books in our genres that is acceptable or things you wish could be seen in print or how you feel about a recent adaptation of a book of this type into film. Musical interests such as scores or songs for an adaptation of a book in the darker genres.  How to get people to allow an interview who are musicians or artisans. Your experience with publishing if you are a published writer that might help others.  We have the forum so topics can be put up of interest.

I would like everyone to enjoy themselves here.  If you have a friend who has recently published a scifi, horror, fantasy, thriller, gothic period piece and would like free advertising by all means let us know and any of the above areas I have mentioned.  Everything connected to the ezine is free and we make no profit.  No one here will be coerced to write for Midnight Magica, we just want your input and presence and if some choose to submit something then it is a pleasant bonus. It is not the basis for the Forum. This forum is set up so you guys can chat about things that interest you in the writing area or reading or anything that might be associated. If you go offtopic there are no rules about that as long as it isn't the only thing in the forum. There are no harsh conformance rules here. Just have fun.

If you have friends you think might like to join us by all means invite them. Here is the link you can give others: http://midnightmagica.ning.com/?xgi=c5yyot1
If it causes a problem being visible on the home page I will just regenerate the link and it will create another one but I doubt it will be a problem.

All members have some writing experience who are presently in the membership whether it be poetry, published novels, print magazines, ezines, interviews professionally or for fun, and the same goes for the writing. Some have had their works published in the past in such places as the New Yorker and yet others are also involved in writing, editing and publishing. I am hoping more will join our membership.
